I've gone through French I-IV with Mrs. Osborn as my teacher and her classes have been a comprehensive exploration of the French language and culture. Last year I took the SAT Subject Test in French and scored far above my expectations. Mrs. Osborn's classes have taken me from knowing nothing about French to being able to communicate almost any thought in the language. If you're a student that is looking for a launching point into learning the French language, I would recommend trying Mrs. Osborn's classes. Unlike other resources, opportunities for reading, writing, listening, and speaking the language are present throughout her courses. Furthermore, these opportunities spring from the literature, culture, and history of Francophone countries. So, for anyone who wants French to be their second language, I would say here is a great place to start that journey.

Madame Osborn is a fantastic French teacher and has made learning the language fun. I took her French 1 class this year, and although it was my first introduction to a foreign language, I was able to learn from her teaching, and her class was fun as well. I highly recommend Madame Osborn for anyone looking to enjoy learning French!

Mrs. Osborn has helped our daughter feel comfortable and much more confidant while learning French. Her classes are well designed to include a variety of learning activities. Her personalized attention has been very impactful to our teen.

My daughter has taken French I, II, and III with Mrs. Osborn. Initially, the class stretched her with technology required and was a great tool to improve her skill and knowledge. The classes are very thorough and she is a professional teacher. My daughter very much enjoys these classes. Mrs. Osborn is very kind, prompt, understanding, and gained my daughter's respect. My freshman took French 1 as a high school credit this school year. French has been her favorite class this year. She likes how Madame Osborn mixes up class time with lecture and review games. It has been a positive experience and we are returning for French 2.

Highly recommend Summer's French classes! I took French 1A in 7th and 1B in 8th with Madame Summer. I transferred into public high school in 9th grade, and went directly into French II and excelled. In fact, I am regularly complimented on my grammar and accent, including when I went on exchange to France from my French family! I am taking French 5 and AP French this year. My foundation with Madame Summer set me up for this success!

My daughter's progress and her desire to continue learning after the completion of her first class was exciting to see. I was also impressed by how Ms. Osborn supplied games, links and recordings to lock French phrases and words into long-term memory between each class. I look forward to enrolling my youngest child when she is old enough!

I'd definitely recommend Summer to anyone! I am Brazilian and English isn't my first language, but I needed help with French grammar in order to pass a proficiency test called TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français). We had Skype lessons, Summer helped me so much and was so sensitive to my needs. She manage to work a lot in such a short period of time, as I didn't have much time left to study for my exam. I ended up getting an even higher level of that I was aiming and with that grade I'll be able to get in a Master Program in France, and Summer is surely part of that. After living in Belgium for 3 years we didn't want our daughter Madalynn's acquired French speaking skills to go to waste. We moved to Alaska in 2017 and after being unable to find local options we opted for a self paced class. Determined to find something better for the 2018 school year, a final internet search revealed Mrs. Osborn's Global Goose class website. After a quick email to Mrs. Osborn, she was able to do a quick assessment of Madalynn's French knowledge and placed her into the correct online class for her level. Madalynn has enjoyed being in the French II class, and her knowledge of the French language has increased immensely. Thank you Mrs. Osborn for a wonderful option for homeschool French lessons!

My son and daughter have been taking French classes with Mrs. Summer for several years now. I was never aware of how much French is surrounding us in our daily lives. For example, when we are watching a show and the production company Bon Nuit comes up and they know what it means we all get so excited. We also have sponsored a child from Burkino Faso, Africa. We received letters from them that were translated into English. We never knew the letters were in French until they started taking classes with Mrs. Summer. I think having a understanding of the French language and culture has opened their minds to new opportunities and experiences.
