Help for Our Online Classes
Our online classes are hosted through Zoom, which allows us to offer a fully interactive class similar to one you might attend in person. While we do not provide technical support for Zoom, your internet provider, or your computer or device, we have made this page to help get you up and running as quickly as possible. In order to have a great experience, your internet connection and computer, tablet, or phone will need to meet Zoom's minimum system requirements. These requirements are fairly basic and most people will meet them with no problems. We recommend using a PC or laptop in order for your child to have the best experience and to allow them to participate fully.
In order to join an online meeting and have access to all of Zoom's features you will need to have the zoom software installed on your computer. If not already installed, you will be asked to install this software when you join your first class with us. We recommend that you install this software now so that you will be ready to join your class right away on the day of the class. You can download and install the zoom software now by following this link. If you are using a phone or tablet to connect you will also find the software in the Apple App Store or in Google Play.
Finally, if you are not familiar with Zoom or online meetings, you may wish to watch an introduction video to acquaint you with the process of joining our class so you will know what to expect.
System Requirements:

An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)

Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth, or optionally a PC audio headset with microphone

A webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USB plug-in. Most webcams will have the microphone built-in.
Recommended Internet bandwidth for Zoom:

For 1:1 video calling: 600kbps (up/down) for high quality video and 1.2 Mbps (up/down) for HD video

For group video calling: 600kbps/1.2Mbps (up/down) for high quality video. For gallery view: 1.5Mbps/1.5Mbps (up/down)
