Refund Policy (Services)

Effective Date: November 28, 2025

By using this website and purchasing our products or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

A.    Group Lessons

Refunds or re-schedules are only offered in the event that the teacher cancels the lesson. Whether the teacher cancels the lesson in advance or experiences an emergency or technical issue during the lesson, an opportunity to reschedule will be presented. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be granted.

There are no refunds or make-up lessons offered when a student misses a group lesson. These lessons are recorded, and the student is expected to use the class recording to keep up.

On a case-by-case basis, the instructor may cancel a lesson if it is known in advance that multiple class members would be absent. This is usually only done in the relaxed class sections. If the teacher cancels a lesson, a reschedule or a refund will be offered.

B.    Private Tutoring

Refunds, credits, or reschedules are granted in the following scenarios.

1.       The teacher cancels a lesson, or experiences an emergency or technology issue during the lesson which causes them to be unable to proceed.

2.      The parent communicates a need to cancel a planned lesson at least 4 hours prior to the appointment.

In cases where a portion of a lesson is missed due to a qualifying issue, the teacher may issue a partial refund, credit, or a shortened make-up session rather than a full reschedule.

Fees are forfeited in the following scenarios:

1.       The student does not attend the session without notice (no-show).

2.      The student arrives more than 10 minutes late to the session without prior communication.

3.      The student or parent cancels less than 4 hours in advance, unless the teacher chooses to make an exception.

4.      The student experiences a technology issue (such as internet failure, device malfunction, or being unable to access the meeting platform).

On a case-by-case basis, teachers may choose to offer a refund or credit, or to reschedule for cancellations made with less than 4 hours’ notice, especially in the event of illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances. Flexibility is more likely to be extended when such issues are rare rather than part of a recurring pattern.
