This class is pending minimum enrollment. Pre-registration reserves your child's seat. Once the minimum number of students has pre-registered, you will be the first to know that registration is open. You will receive a confirmation email containing a private link to complete your registration and pay associated fees.
For self pay: Today you will pay a registration fee of $50 and a materials fee of $10 to complete registration. The first tuition payment will be automatically charged 14 days before the class start date. There will be a total of 9 monthly or 2 semester tuition payments, depending on the chosen payment plan.
Class Description:
This is a rigorous course meant for students who need to complete their second foreign language credit. Successful completion of Spanish 1 is a pre-requisite, and transfer students will need to complete a placement test prior to registering.
We use comprehensible input-based model to use the language, not simply learn grammar. We will acquire high frequency words and phrases by reading and listening to stories, talking about ourselves, and seeing the words used in context, while exploring grammar in culture-related contexts. Students will complete about 3.5 hours of independent work each week, and are expected to come to class ready to participate actively.
