Class Description:
We will still use a method called Comprehensible Input (CI), in which students USE the language, not just learn about it. Through listening to and reading short stories, students acquire the language naturally. It is a similar format to Spanish I, but we move past the very basics and start to focus on direct and indirect object pronouns. We continue to learn about the Spanish-speaking countries. The course focuses on all four modes of communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Since we meet twice a week, there will be days without homework and others with up to two hours. Students will need to purchase two novels.
