Class Description:
Designed to help students build the confidence and language foundation needed for future Spanish study, this year-long course uses stories, games, weather and geography explorations, MovieTalks, and personalized discussions to make Spanish meaningful and engaging. Students develop proficiency with high-frequency language for talking about people, places, wants, likes, movement, and everyday experiences. Along the way, they learn greetings, common courtesies, and practical language for communicating about themselves, others, and the world around them. Created for beginner and beginner-plus learners, this course emphasizes communication and comprehension over memorization, helping students develop lasting skills they can build on in future Spanish classes.
