For self pay: Today you will pay a registration fee of $35 to complete registration. The first tuition payment will be automatically charged 14 days before the class start date. There will be a total of 9 monthly or 2 semester tuition payments, depending on the chosen payment plan.
Class Description:
In French 1B, students complete the second half of a full high school French 1 course. Students entering this level should already be comfortable describing themselves and using -er verbs to discuss common activities.
In this course, students work toward consistent mastery of the present tense and greater confidence in everyday communication. Topics include home, family, community, food, music, and more. Clear and explicit grammar instruction supports continued growth in verb conjugation, sentence structure, and adjective agreement. At the same time, students encounter the language in meaningful context through guided readings, listening activities, and conversation practice, ensuring they understand and use what they learn.
By the end of French 1B, students will have completed the full learning outcomes of a high school French 1 course and will be well prepared to continue on to French 2.
